Q: How does the process work?
A: At RBG we like to work in stages for your medical holiday to ensure all points are
covered prior to travel.
The first step is to book a consultation with an RBG consultant via phone/email or face to face. During your consultation, you will be shown a presentation on the hospital/s, the surgeons and their qualifications, plus before and after photos of their work. The consultant will take photos of your requested procedure/s area as well as collect medical information, which will be submitted to the surgeon/hospital/s for a more specific price and surgical recommendation. We will also arrange travel and accommodation quotes so you have the complete package price.
Once we have a response from the hospital and you are happy and ready to proceed with your booking, we will finalise all arrangements for you including your travel, post surgery garments, medical insurance and a treatment plan package.
Q: Why did RBG choose Thailand?
A: For many years, Thailand has become the world leader in Cosmetic Surgery and Dental Treatments. The healthcare system is advanced and affordable, with most recently the country being ranked the 6th best quality healthcare system in the world (with Australia being 10th!)
Thailand was the first Asian country to achieve the prestigious Joint Commission International accreditation in 2002. All of our hospitals continue to uphold their quality standard in patient care and use of advanced technology and techniques.
Q: What are the standards of the hospitals?
A: Every Hospital in our Thailand network is internationally recognized and have been accredited by the JCI (Joint Commission International). JCI is a non for profit US based group helping to improve quality of patient care. Organizations that achieve and maintain JCI’s Gold Seal of approval are dedicated to providing their patients the best level of care through patient safety and quality systems.
Our Bali BIMC Hospital Nusa Dua was awarded international accreditation by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI)
Q: What qualifications does my surgeon have?
A: All of the surgeons we work with have all under gone extensive education and training to be a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, whom are all active members of many international medical associations.
Q: When do I meet my surgeon?
A: Once you have arrived in Thailand or Bali you will have a scheduled face to face consultation with your surgeon to confirm your procedure details. You do not pay for your surgery until you have confirmed you are happy to proceed with the treatment, from there you will pay at the hospital and generally have surgery the following day.
Throughout your stay you will also have follow up appointments with your surgeon. This allows for any post op care questions you may have and after care instructions are provided.
