Online Quote and Medical Assessment for Cosmetic Surgery

Step 1: Start With an Online Quote

Your journey begins by completing our online Get a Quote form.

This gives us some initial information about you, the procedure or procedures you’re considering and your preferred destination.

Don’t worry if you aren’t completely sure which procedure you need. That’s part of the process, and ultimately your surgeon will recommend a surgical plan based on your individual circumstances.

Once your enquiry is received, you’ll be assigned to one of our Restored Beauty Getaways Cosmetic Consultants, who will become your point of contact and guide you through the next steps.

Step 2: Photos & Your Medical Form

Your Cosmetic Consultant will ask you to provide photographs relevant to the procedure you’re considering and complete our confidential medical form.

Your medical information is an important part of the assessment process. You’ll be asked about relevant medical history, previous procedures, medications and other information required for your case to be properly reviewed.

It’s important to provide complete and accurate information. Cosmetic surgery is still surgery, and your health and suitability for the procedure must always come first.

Your consultant will let you know what photographs and information are required for your particular procedure.

Step 3: Your Information Goes to the Surgeon

Once we’ve received your required information and photographs, we’ll send your case through to the surgeon for review.

This is an important distinction: your surgical recommendation comes from the surgeon.

The surgeon will review the information provided and assess the procedure or combination of procedures that may be appropriate for you.

Once we receive the surgeon’s response, your RBG Cosmetic Consultant will come back to you with:

Your recommended surgical plan and pricing
Any pre-operative requirements

Sometimes the surgeon’s recommendation may be different from the procedure you originally had in mind. This is why the assessment stage is so important.

Your treatment should be based on your individual anatomy, medical history, goals and the surgeon’s professional assessment—not simply a procedure selected from a price list.

Step 4: Review Your Surgical Plan

Now you have an opportunity to consider the recommendation, understand your pricing and ask questions.

There’s no reason to feel rushed.

Your Cosmetic Consultant can help explain the next stages of the process and liaise with the hospital where required.

This is also a good time to start thinking about the practical side of travelling for surgery: when you would like to travel, how much time you’ll need away from work and home, whether you’ll travel alone or with someone, and what your overall budget will look like.

Confirming Surgery and Accommodation Booking

Step 5: Confirming Your Surgery

Once you’re comfortable with your proposed surgical plan and you’re ready to proceed, your Cosmetic Consultant will guide you through confirming your booking.

From here, your journey starts becoming much more tangible.

You’ll receive information regarding your surgery arrangements, travel dates and the preparations you’ll need to make before leaving Australia.

There are many moving pieces involved in travelling overseas for surgery, and we’re here to help you understand what needs to happen and when.

Step 6: Planning Your Flights & Accommodation

Patients arrange and book their own flights, giving you the freedom to choose the airline, schedule and travel arrangements that suit you.

Choosing appropriate accommodation is particularly important when travelling for surgery. Your trip isn’t an ordinary holiday, and comfort, location and suitability for recovery should all be considered.

Step 7: Consider Medical Tourism Insurance

Another important part of planning an overseas cosmetic surgery journey is insurance.

Standard travel insurance may not provide cover for circumstances associated with elective cosmetic surgery, which is why we offer access to specialised Medical Tourism Insurance.

It’s important to follow all instructions provided by your surgeon and hospital and to advise your team if there are any changes to your health or medications before surgery.

By this stage, you should have your flights, accommodation and other travel arrangements organised and know what to expect when you arrive.

Arriving in Thailand or Bali for Cosmetic Surgery

Step 11: Arriving in Thailand or Bali

After all the planning, you’ve finally arrived.

For many patients, this is the moment the experience starts to feel real.

You’ll settle into your accommodation and prepare for your upcoming hospital appointments and in-person consultation.

Meeting Your Surgeon in Person for Consultation

Step 12: Meeting Your Surgeon

Before surgery, you’ll meet your surgeon in person.

Your surgeon can assess you face-to-face, discuss your goals and proposed procedure, explain the expected outcome and recovery, and answer your final medical questions.

It’s also another opportunity for the surgeon to confirm that the proposed procedure remains appropriate for you.

Ultimately, your surgical care and medical decisions remain between you and your treating medical team.

Cosmetic Surgery Day and Post-Operative Care

Step 13: Surgery & Recovery

Then comes the day you’ve spent months preparing for—surgery day.

Your hospital and medical team will guide you through admission, surgery and your immediate post-operative care.

Once you’re discharged, your focus shifts to resting and recovering.

Depending on your procedure, you’ll attend scheduled post-operative appointments and follow the instructions provided by your surgeon and hospital team.
