I had always thought about having breast implants but the price and availability of surgeons in Darwin meant it was only ever a dream. I am a nurse who works in theatre so I was very aware of exactly what I was getting myself into!! From the moment I arrived at Phuket airport I felt at ease by the ground staff, then the nursing staff and finally Dr Piyapas my surgeon. They are all very gentle caring people who I felt genuinely were concerned with my welfare. Everything Claire said about the quality of the hospital, the nursing staff and in particular the doctors were spot on. In fact, they exceeded my hopes and expectations. I had a minor post-operative teary episode, so being part of a group who had all undergone surgery was the perfect medicine. The other gave me support I, in turn, gave them.
The concept of a “medical holiday” may seem oxymoron, but RBG certainly pulled it off!

“Being totally flat, i have always wanted bigger breasts! I never thought that this would be possible as it was so expensive to get it done in Australia and as a student/part time worker i would never have the money. I also couldnt bring myself to spend $12-$14,000 on a boob job!

The idea to get surgery in Thailand appealed to me as I heard it was so much more cheaper. My boyfriend however put his foot down and said No way would i be getting dodgy surgery in another country. However it was when a friend of mine got hers done over thereand came back with fantastic results that he finally realised that I could safe affordable surgery whilst getting a holiday thrown in aswell, that he finally approved. I myself was so scared about the idea of getting surgery done in Thailand after all those scary stories on 60mins but when I checked out Restored Beauty Getaways (recommended by a friend) I was convinced that this was the way to do it!

Robbie was amazing! as soon as I met him I found myself trusting him to take care of everything. He took care of my whole trip, flights, acommodation, transfers and surgery. (Big thank you to Alison from Flight Centre aswell who was equally paitent and amazing when we had to reschedule plans).

The whole trip was surreal! It all happened so quickly! The hotel was beautiful. If you want a little bit of a holiday thrown in I would suggest going a couple of days before surgery so you can do all the water activites like snorkelling and swimming. The hospital was brilliant! it outclasses the hospitals in Perth and all the staff are SO helpful and nice. Dr Piyapas was also incredible. From the first moment i met him i felt completely at ease. I would definately recommend him for Breast Augmentation sugeries. I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am with the surgery. I absolutely loved every single bit of my holiday. It was so easy and stressfree as everything was already organised for you. The only thing that I wish was that I went bigger! but i may go back again later and make that happen.

”Julie who lost about 85 kgs was able to shop in the “normal sizes” section of stores instead of the “big girls department”. The only drawback was the hanging skin left under her arms, most sleeves either clung to the contour or were too short to hide it so she would spend summer either tugging on the sleeves of mens’ tee shirts to try and cover them or sweating in hoodies or jackets. Julie had seen this coming so had been saving, but when she went to see a surgeon in Christchurch Julie was stunned at the cost. It left her in tears and she thought that was the end”.

Medical Group Travel - Bangkok Phuket Hospital

Rebecca Schimpf escorted 12 beautiful ladies on the Restored Beauty Getaways medical group travel to Phuket. The ladies indulged in a range of procedures from breast augmentations, face lifts, liposuction, tummy tuck and teeth whitening- all combined with a luxurious holiday! All procedures went smoothly and in line with their expectations.

After post-op recovery, a few of the ladies took the opportunity to enjoy some elephant riding, boat trips to the magnificent Phi Phi Island, some relaxation and recuperation by the pool sipping cocktails and indulging in a shoppers paradise.
