Surgery for Fresher Look - Gura 54 Years Old
I wanted surgery for a "refreshed" look. My face looked tired and my eyes were very droopy so it was time for a change. My main goal was to get a more youthful appearance and to get the spark back into my eyes. About 10 years ago I became unhappy with my appearance. I did not like the way my eyes were looking, they were getting smaller and smaller because of the heavy eyelids.
I did not consult with any plastic surgeons in my home town in Perth because I knew I would not be able to afford it. I chose to go overseas because of the affordable price, top surgeons available in Thailand, the complete holiday package deal and the amazing location.
I went with Restored Beauty Getaways because this business is owned by my daughter and son. I knew that I could completely trust them and I could leave everything in their capable hands. I had also read testimonial cases of past patients of Restored Beauty Getaways who had all been very pleased with their results and services received. The only preparations I made for the surgery holiday was to pack my suitcase and make sure my passport was valid.
Experienced and professional
Consultation: During my consultation with Dr. Witoon he confirmed he would be performing a face lift with liposuction under my chin and upper and lower eyelid surgery. I was quite anxious before my operation as I have never had an operation before and I didn't know what to expect. However, Rebecca of Restored Beauty Getaways reassured me and explained the procedures that were going to happen and what to expect. I just couldn't wait to get it done. Many of my friends can't wait to see my surgery results.
My surgeon, Dr. Witoon picked me up from my hotel in the early morning. Once I meet Dr. Witoon I knew I could trust him and I felt reassured. Dr. Witoon has over 30 years experience and that gave me peace of mind. Dr. Witton was so kind and gentle; he has a very relaxed approach about everything.
My daughter Rebecca from Restored Beauty Getaways accompanied me on my trip to Thailand and came with me to the hospital. I really didn't have to worry about anything. She was great and very professional. The hospital is also very clean, had friendly staff and environment.
Admission: I was a little nervous right before surgery. I had to put on a gown and they took my blood pressure. This was then followed by an ECG and blood test. These are all standard pre surgery tests. After the pre surgery testing I was then introduced to the hospital staff on our way to theatre. Once in theatre I was introduced to the Aneasathist. Everyone was very kind and friendly. Dr. Witoon even held my hand.
Surgery: After surgery, I felt a bit drowsy but experienced no pain at all. The only discomfort was the compression bandage around my head. The pain medication I had was an IV drip with morphine. I was discharged 24 hours after my surgery and I still experience no pain.
Over the moon
It took me about 3 days to recover. The day I was discharged from hospital (which was 24 hours post op) we went out for lunch at a beautiful restaurant! I was happy to eat some soup and some fried rice. I couldn't believe that I just had a big operation and the next day I am sitting at a restaurant for the start of my holiday.
I am very pleased with my results. I love to look at myself in the mirror now with my fresh, younger-looking face. Dr. Witoon really took great care of me. The scars on my face are minimal. Dr. Witoon made the incisions with the cartilage just in the front-inside part of the ear, ending behind the earlobe.
The main benefits of my surgery are that I am more confident when talking to people face to face. I look and feel younger, and my skin looks so fresh. I would say that these procedures have given me a positive impact on my life especially when I'm out in public. I can say that I'm very happy with myself. I've not been able to feel that way for years. People are commenting that I look more then 10 years younger, this makes me feel very special.
Holiday Mode
During my stay in Thailand I did not feel alone at all. At the resort there were people who had either just arrived to begin their surgery journey or people like me who were recovering and relaxing from operations. It was very helpful to be able to talk to and meet them. For anyone who's considering the same procedure, I'd say "Go for it!! You would not regret it." It has changed my life and I'm so excited, thanks to Dr. Witoon.
The Aisawan Beach Resort we stayed at was excellent. The service was of high standard. Nothing was too much trouble and there is always a smile to greet you. All the staff made us feel welcome. I also got to enjoy some local tours and a visit to the Tiger Zoo.

I would like to highly recommend Dr. Witoon to anyone considering surgery as he is so professional and experienced. He really does wonderful work.
