The Gold Coast’s 2010 September Group Tour

Day 1: Friday 24 September
Our group of excited ladies from the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Sunshine Coast all met bright and early at Brisbane airport ready for our journey to Phuket- the land where dreams come true.
The women hit-it-off immediately, so excited to meet like-minded people who would become friends through this shared experience.
We were arrived in Phuket and were warmly welcomed at the hospital with cool drinks and refreshments, before the ladies met their surgeons for their consultations.
After checking into our boutique hotel, The Burasari, we were treated to their full experience of sophisticated style, comfort, privacy and tranquility.
Day 2: Saturday 25 September
Surgeries begins…
We were picked up at 7am for our surgeries, with Jana saying: "This is a dream come true, and I keep expecting something to go wrong, but it just keeps getting better.
I can’t believe this is happening. I am so happy!"
Waiting for her surgery to begin, Candy said the experience was surreal. "Seeing is believing, but it still feels so surreal, I can’t believe this is happening.
Dr Witoon is so amazing, he is so kind and confident I feel totally comfortable- not nervous at all."
As a special additional upgrade to Restored Beauty Getaways clients when possible, Candy was given a free upgrade to the Presidential Suite for her 3 nights in hospital post-op.
"It is just amazing, everyone is so nice and professional and the attention to detail in extraordinary. Doesn’t look or feel like a hospital."
Barbi was having a total make-over with a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction and dental work.
"This is a dream come true for me, and something I have been thinking about for 20 years.
I saw the story in Take 5 Magazine about 2 years and learnt about Restored Beauty Getaways and the services they provide.
I cut out that story and have kept in the draw beside my bed until I had saved up enough money.
When I was ready, I went and saw Claire from Restored Beauty Getaways in her Gold Coast office and booked my trip."

Day 3: Sunday 26th September
7am pick-up for surgeries for more ladies for their surgery of choice including face-lifts, rhinoplasty, breast enhancement surgery and liposuction.
The ladies were so excited, and after meeting their surgeons and having the opportunity to discuss their expectations of their surgery. The confidence and caliber of the surgeons combines with the state-of-the start facilities of the hospital and the genuine and care they were recieving, all of the women were very confident and excited about their surgery. After the ladies went into surgery, I was so excited to check-in on the ladies post-op. The ladies had recovered extraordinarily! Jana was so, so impressed. "I am here in Thailand in the most amazing suite with the nurses that are so beautiful and caring, in the most beautiful surroundings I cannot believe it is a hospital! It is so surreal! What an extraordinary experience- I am so happy!"
I checked out of hospital with Sammi at 3pm, and at 5pm we enjoyed a very special few hours of girl-time with cocktails at the hotel bar, then a stroll through Patong’s streets to explore the wonderful excitement of the place. For Sammi, she said that she is so happy with the results and the experience she will be telling all of her friends. "I would love to talk to anyone even thinking about having surgery in Phuket with Restored Beauty Getaways. Day 4: Tuesday 18 September
Some of the girls rose early to stroll along the deserted beach after sunrise, and spent the day relaxing and indulging in beauty treatments,
decadent food and retail therapy while they recovered and rejuvenated in paradise.
Barbi was recovering so well after her "extreme makeover". She was bright eyed and bubbly, with glowing remarks about the care she is receiving from her surgeon who brought her a bouquet of flowers.
Candy and Jordan were discharged from hospital and checked into their rooms at the hotel, and we all caught up for some dinner and drinks at the hotel. We had a lovely night.
Day 5: Wednesday 29 September
A couple follow-ups at the hospital, sleep- ins and lazy buffet breakfasts followed by strolling around and exploring the streets of Patong with all it’s overwhelming madness of kilometres of shopping….
The ladies spent their afternoon day elephant riding and dinner and drinks together. "We had an amazing day." said Candy.
Day 6: Thursday 30 September
Early morning pick-up for follow-ups with the surgeons at the hospital, with our lucky last lady having her second round of surgery for liposuction.
"I feel like the luckiest person in the world right now. I can’t believe this is happening to me. This is going to change my life!" she said.
Barbi was discharged from hospital after 6 days and for the first time arrived down at Patong Beach so elated.
"This is a dream come true for me I am still pinching myself. Only it is far more beautiful than I dreamed it would be.
This whole experience so far has exceeded my expectations, and it’s only just begun…."
Feeling wonderful and re-born, the rest of the day was spent exploring the sights and soaking up the magic.
We enjoyed the dinner together on the beach at sunset.
Day 7: Friday 1 October
Morning walks on the beach, long buffet breakfasts, manicures and pedicures and lazing by the pool followed Fantasea Show.
"WOW WOW WOW” said Jana, “We are having an amazing time!"
Day 8: Saturday 2 October
With kilometers of shopping, the ladies bought presents for their children, family, friends and themselves and dined on the local cuisine followed by a lazy evening…
Day 9: Sunday 3 October
Another relaxing day in paradise, and an afternoon at the Big Buddha was a truly spiritual experience.
The night markets in Phuket Town were a sensory overload! It is definitely on the must-do experiences in Phuket. "It was so much fun!" said Jordan.
Day 10: Monday 4 October
Follow-ups with the surgeon and dental appointments followed by a day cruising the streets of Patong…

With our trip coming to an end, Jordan said: "Going to Thailand to do this in a group was a completely rewarding experience!
The hospital and the hospital staff are amazing and I felt at ease and comfortable the entire time I was in hospital.
Dr Witoon is a brilliant and kind man and a fantastic surgeon. Dr Jib is gentle and also a fantastic surgeon."
Barbara said: "I now look and feel better than I ever dreamed!
The group I have travelled with and I have formed lifetime friendships and have made this experience a million times better.
I am sure it has made the healing process faster because I am with people who care and look out for me- Claire, the girls and the doctors!."
Day 13: Thursday 7 October
Home sweet home! With all the ladies returning home transformed, revitalized, refreshed and so happy with their surgery/ holiday experience and most importantly, their results.
